Siri phrases

Try any of these:

• "Rate something in RateBud"
• "Rate [item] in RateBud"
• "How did I rate [item] in RateBud"
• "Scan with RateBud"
• "Show [item] in RateBud"
• "Favorite [item] in RateBud"

Shortcuts and automations

The same actions appear in the Shortcuts app, where they can be chained into automations — prompting you to rate the coffee shop you've just left, for instance, or adding a scan step to a larger shortcut.

Spotlight

Your items are searchable from Spotlight. Pull down on the home screen and start typing a name to jump straight to an item.

The Action Button

On iPhone 15 Pro and later you can assign a RateBud shortcut to the Action Button — opening the scanner is the usual choice — via the system Settings app → Action Button → Shortcut.
