Insights and trends

The reason to rate the same thing twice is to find out whether you actually still like it.

An item page showing an overall rating of 4.5 stars beside dimension cards for acidity, body, sweetness, finish and balance.
The item page leads with the metric cards — overall first, then each dimension.

On a single item

Every item page shows its average rating, how many times you've rated it, and which direction it's heading — improving, steady, or slipping. That much is free.

Pro adds the detail underneath:

  • Rating distribution — how your ratings are spread, not just averaged.
  • A trend chart over time, so a slow decline is visible rather than implied.
  • A written summary of your own notes — overall sentiment, the themes that keep recurring, and the lines worth remembering.

That summary is generated on your device using Apple's on-device models. Your notes are not sent anywhere.

A metric detail sheet showing an average of 4.5 stars, a rating distribution, and a Trend Over Time line chart.
Tapping a metric card opens its detail: distribution, trend, and the average across every review.

Dimension cards

If an item uses rating dimensions, each one gets its own metric card with a sparkline and its own trend — so you can see that a coffee's body has held up while its acidity has drifted.

The Statistics screen showing twelve items, twenty-nine reviews, a 4.3 average and a rating distribution.
Settings → Statistics covers the whole library rather than a single item.

Across your whole library

Open Settings → Statistics for the view across everything: total items and reviews, your overall average, how your ratings are distributed, your most-reviewed items, a breakdown by category, and when you started.
